We went to the new resiviour that is being filled here in St. George. It was quite fun. There is a place that has a series of big rocks that make kind of a semicircle into the lake. It’s quite neat. You have to swim from one to another, but it’s worth it to get to the 30′ cliff on the last one. I guess some girl broke her foot out there because she didn’t jump out far enough to miss the rocks below.
Amazingly enough, I didn’t get sunburned and we were out for a few hours. This whiteboy rules!
All in all it was quite fun. Apparently it’s only about 20% full though, so those rocks won’t be around for long. :-( So Sad.
I worked a 13 hour day today. I’m not used to this. I’m now sitting at the above mentioned expo. I’ve been here for two days now. I’m tired, I’m irritable, and I’m MAKING TONS of OVERTIME! :-) It’s been a stressfull few days. I hate doing these expos. Every year, we are asked to come and talk to people about business Internet and every year, people just don’t seem to want to talk about that.
Oh well, right? I’ve got quite a few hours ahead of me. Horribly enough, we had record temperatures here in St. George yesterday. It was 107. Too hot for me. needless to say, I spent yesterday running errands in my car that is running low on freon. It’s hot. Too hot.
Went fishing today with my Dad. We went to East Canyon Resivior. We had a really great time. Dad and I both caught our limit although we did catch a few more and let them go. We went with Valeries Brother-in-Law Rick and his son (I call him my cousin) Chad. Everyone went home with 4 fish though. :-).
We caught a few trout with whirling disease. It was really quite nasty. The fish had open sores all over them and worse, some of them seemed to have worms coming out of them. It was SO nasty. I guess we can give a big thanks to Utah Governer Mike Leavitt for that one.
Put in a 12 hour day today. That’s the first time I’ve done that since, uh…forever. I had a networking job to do this evening. The home that I did it in was a $1.3 Million home. It was beautiful. The wiring job in the house just ABSOLUTELY sucked though. It was horrible. We finally got things up and going after about 4.5 hours though. Not to bad.
Needless to say, I’m bushed. To add insult to injury, the fan my on firewall’s power supply went out last night and I have to fix it, but just have no motivation to do so. Oh well, it can wait. As long as you see this site, you know the darned thing is working.
