The old webpage is back up for viewing. It will soon be taken down, but for now you can see it here. The funniest things are in my old section. I added links to some pages I made a LONG time ago (read: 5+ years). this one is a resume page that I made when I had moved to St. George and was looking for a job (I ended up working for InfoWest). This one was for jared.infowest.com, my old computer, and I used it to do various things (like track the computer support appointments that I used to go on after work so I could afford to buy my wife her beautiful - and custom - wedding ring). Most links on there are surely broken now. Corinne’s GREAT manicotti recipe is still there too. Basically, anything that has been moved over to the new site from the old one, has been removed, and anything else will eventually be deleted.
So yeah, it occurred to me today that I’ve been toying around on the Internet for a long time. I’m still looking for even older stuff that I did and if I find it, I’ll post it.
The fact that I am not a graphic artist is painfully obvious, but I felt that the site needed a little “something extra” to help it feel more like mine. So, I sat down tonight and made up a little header with some images of the family. NOTE: This header is a work in progress and will likely change as time goes on. That said, I’ll pat myself on the back.
…another example of someone with too much time on their hands.
It’s so nice to know that America is to blame for the sexual deviance of all the world (well, India at least). It’s not enough that Eastern Indians are receiving the jobs of many Americans though their employers’ scrupulous efforts to save money, nay. Now America is to blame for the “personal encounters” of Indian office workers. Of course, I wouldn’t expect much more from a poor, underdeveloped, and overpopulated country just as I wouldn’t expect much different from the poor and underdeveloped (read: ignorant) in America who blame the “movie stars” for the sexual engagements of todays children. Is it human nature for us to blame those we envy or is everyone forgetting this little thing called personal accountability?
Robert and I drove out to the West desert today to pop off a few rounds in my XD40. We had a great time. We found parts from a 1978ish Camaro that had apparently been gutted and shot it all up. It was great. Shooting is such a great stress-reliever for me. In a lot of ways, I wish that I could do it more, but I’m certainly happy with what I can get. I ended up with a box of hollow-point rounds. I made sure not to fire those all off. Those are what you want when you’re protecting your home. Put a few of those in an intruder, and I promise he won’t be coming back for more.
