As you might imagine, my shoulder is still quite stiff. Swollen too. As a matter if fact, it’s so swollen, I cannot feel the bones underneath the swelling. It’s amazingly tender too. I’m thinking I did more tissue damage that skeletal damage, but regardless, I’m glad I don’t work with my hands or something; I’d be screwed.
I have been taking it easy though. I read Catcher In The Rye in two days and started A Different Mirror yesterday and am already 100 pages in. I love reading what I want to. My current book is “a multi-cultural history of America;” basically history as told by people other than white settlers. It’s extremely intriguing and ridiculously well researched. I’ve been meaning to read it for two years now and finally have a chance. I cannot tell you how great it is to have the weight of school off my back. With work going well and my kids coming up to see me this weekend, it’s shaping up to be a good week already. Now if I could just get this shoulder to heal and get back on my bike, I’d be set.
