About Me

I was born in December of 1976. I have run my own website in some way or another since 1997. See my internet past for more about what I’ve done online. I’ve been involved with computers in some way or another since I was a kid loading DOS from 5.25″ floppy disks, but didn’t become really involved with them until just after high school. See my computing past for more information about my hobby of computing. I consider myself as having gotten off to a slow start in my adult life. I didn’t graduate high-school on time and didn’t go to college until I was 24 years old. I’m currently a student in the University of Utah’s Masters of Social Work program and carry a 3.9 so far. I’ll be finally done with school at the end of July, 2008. See my educational past for more about what I’m doing in school. See my resume for more about what I’ve done for work over the years.

The Page Itself

This page was started in November of 2002. Living apart from my family at the time, I thought this was the best way to keep them updated on all of the latest happenings. The page has changed face several times and has been through several software changes. All changes have been noted in the site updates category of the blog. Since its start, the site has been an online accounting of the general goings on in my life. Corinne writes on our family blog at the-fergusons.net

The weblog is powered by WordPress, the photo gallery is powered by Picasa. Jared creates/edits many of the images on this site using Adobe Photoshop, on a Mac. The header picture was taken by Casey Niederhauser (used with permission). Picture was approximately a 400 second exposure of an area in Beaver Canyon Utah. I believe it encompasses what really is the seasonal change here in Utah. More info about Casey’s wonderful photography may be found at www.niederhauser.com. RSS Feed is available.
